Dr. Sakal, Ph.D., M.D. received her Doctorate degree in Dermatology from Beijing Medical University in China and she was the Attending Dermatologist at Beijing Hospital.  Dr. Sakal did a research Fellowship in Immunology via the World Health Organization (WHO) at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, where she continued working after her fellowship. Dr. Sakal completed 3 years Family Practice Medical Residency training (one year in Texas and two years at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana in their Family Practice Rural Health Track Program) where she obtained BCLS, ACSL, PALS and ALOS certifications. Dr. Sakal has practiced in California since 2003 and has been at Glenn Medical Center since 2010.
